A (Pehlwan) wrestler is staying in my hotel; he is in the valley for a wrestling tournament (Dangal). Now he is my best friend and I happen to find him around me all the time.

He has many theories. Regardless of my agreement or disagreement, I am presenting some of his theories here.

He says eczema is because people are not doing at least 300 pushups each day. After at least 300 pushups, one looses lots of sweat and drains surface impurities.

He has a different version of the proverb: “Practice makes a man perfect”
He used: “Mangtae mangtae aadmi bhik-manga hoo jata hai”, “Asking, asking, man becomes beggar.”

Any conversation with him ends up in wrestling. It appears we will end up in wrestling.

Be safe if it ends up in wrestling because you dont even do a single pushup................!!!!

Dear Praveen,

I have used Arnica 6c in the wet dose with almost miraculous results in the treatment of Eczema.

The Wet Dose is made by inserting 2 drops or 3 pellets of the remedy into a 500ml bottle of water from which about 3 cm has been poured out to provide some air space on top. The bottle is shaken hard (succussed) every time before a teaspoonful is sipped twice daily.

Some patients who have been suffering from chronic Eczema for many years have reported that in just 3 days, their itchiness disappeared and in the next few days all the exudation of plasma stopped. In a week the patient was cured.

Please pass the news of this amazing cure for Eczema to your wrestler. He may also discover that the Arnica may help him by increasing the blood flow in his body which can even give him more strength. It will also enable him to overcome his fatigue after a fight.

Dear Joe

Of-course Arnica also works towards circulation and transports and disposes body impurities. In a way Pehlwan (wrestler) is correct too. I believe the circulation is important.

Other news is that this Pehlwan has created an embarassing situation for me because today he was badly beaten by his opponent in the wrestling match.

Now people hoot to me: "Hay your buddy was banged." So today with the help of two boys we gave my buddy a good massage. His left eye is black and closed. But he says he will get even tomorrow. But now he has asked me for some help for his bruises. So I gave him some crushed leaves of arnica like herb to eat.

Let's see if he brings me good name tomorrow.

Today my buddy pehlwan got even. He beat up his opponent very well so he still stands in the competition.

With Arnica herb he said he had hot flushes whole night and he said he felt good because he felt no inflammations.

I am naturally very pleased to learn the Pehlwan has beaten his opponent and that he reported that he recovered well overnight.

I note that you have given him some leaves of Arnica to chew and this as you can realize opens up a new vista in the use of Arnica. I have no experience with using Arnica leaves and you will have to give me all the information about the raw product when we meet. I believe that it would be the nearest to the Mother Tincture of the remedy and this is where some laboratory tests should be conducted with the leaves to get more information on how this works in comparison to the potentized product.

You stated in your first post on this thread the your wrestler friend has a theory about Eczema but you did not confirm that he also is affected by Eczema. If so I would like to know in a few days how his Eczema responded to the Arnica leaves.

I am copying the link to an article where I had collected the various ailments for which I had used Arnica and would welcome some news from patients who may have used this amazing remedy as it would be of interest to others who may also decide to use it.

He is not affected by eczema and also he has a point that we have eczema because we don't work hard in these days and hence no sweating. Eczema is always rampant in cold countries and rare in the tropical (hot and wet places).

The Arnica grows on the mountains is not exactly arnica montana but a variety close to it. It also grows in the plains near canals but never effective as on the mountains. In Sri Lanka I have seen it growing around Kandy and way to high mountains around Nuwara Eliya

lucky7, our pehalwan has a valid point too that our lives are deprived of all heavyduty workout that is much needed for the body.

Anyway he called me (since I am now in Punjab) and said he got third place in the tournament, plus a broken nose and a cracked rib.

A New Year's gift to Joe De Livera, Pehlway called me and said that he bought Arnica-6C and loved its action on his wrestling matches.

His friends are also liking it. They say it sooth them. He asked me to convey his hello to Joe De Livera.

Another thing he has mentioned that it gives hot flushes if taken at night but he said those flushes are good for health.

Dear Praveen,

Thank you for your New Year's gift. I am delighted to learn that Arnica 6s has helped Pehlway. I hope he uses the Wet Dose as this is superior to the dry pellets that we all used in the old days.

If he experiences hot flushes at night, he can use the 30c potency as this will prevent this problem.

I do not seem to get the automatic email alerts anymore and would appreciate if you will please look into the reason why I do not get them for every post.
