Dear Sri Udayakumar,

There appears to be a marginal improvement with kali bich. Regarding Antim tart 1M, I had taken just one dose after getting the Antim tart 1m. How frequently I can use. Normally homeopaths don’t advice frequent repetition of high potency medicines, hence I need your advice.

Generally speaking, my condition is far far better as compared to the condition in which I started taking your treatment except for this accumulation of phlegm.

You can use Antim Tart 1M one dose a day for three days in continuous succession and then repeat one dose in 15 days or you may take one dose in 15 days only. Classic homeopaths go by books and therefore, they are afraid to cross the Lakshman Rekha because they do not try the medicines on themselves. I believe the first dose which touches the tongue is the medicine that is working and the successive doses are redundant. I am yet to prove myself wrong. And no one ever came forward to prove me wrong....... The rest is with the individual to try.......You can not have the cake and eat it too. Either one should believe homeopathy is dangerous or one should believe homeopathy is harmless. Either one should believe homeopathy is plain water or one should believe it is curative and elixir. One cannot believe in both.....................

Dear Sri UdayaKumar,

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for you have cured my persistent problem. It is now more than a month since I have had the attack. I am able to go for my walks. I don’t get any wheezing now. I have not stopped Ars. Alb and Antim tart. I take Ars Alb 200 in the morning and Antim tart 200 in the evening.

At one stage of treatment mainly with Ars Alb and Antim tart, I used to get very regular motions sometimes even very loose. For the past couple of weeks, I am constipated. On such days I take thriphala – a couple of tablets. I take enough water (min of 2.5 litres) and fibres daily.

My morning breakfast is mostly Oats porridge. Lunch 2 cups of rice with rasam and Curd/buttermilk. In the night, I take mostly a couple of Phulka Rotis with some vegetables. On your advise, I am taking Alfalfa 2 doses daily. Could you suggest some remedy and change in the dietary routine for my constipation?

I once again thank you for all the best efforts you have put in to see me in the present condition.

use three doses of Bryonia 30C for one day for constipation. use more longer intervals between each dose of arsenic album and also between each dose of Antim Tart and slowly stop it. If it returns after one year. Use Arsenic Album only for a few days. best wishes.

Dear Sri Udayakumar,
As advised, I had taken 3 doses of bryonia 30c for one day. Since there was no improvement, I continued for another two days. Still there is no change. On the fourth day I had taken Triphala. This results in very hard stool first, then very loose; Some times too watery as in diarrhoea.

If Bryonia is not working use Alumina 30C or Phosphorus 30C, or Opium 30C or the Hahneman's classic trio i.e. Sulphur 30C/Calcarea Carb 30C/lycopodium 30C in that order.

Dear Sri Udayakumar,
As advised, I stopped Ars alb and antim tart in June. Slowly my symptoms started to reappear after I had an unpleasant incident in the family in the month of May-June.

After this rude shock the symptom of my frequent attacks of cold started reappearing and hence I have started again on Ars Alb and antim tart. My health started deteriorating and I have now lost 8kg (present weight:60kg, ht:6ft)in a few months. Already I am of a thin frame. Slowly the chest bones are showing up. The muscles in hand and legs are getting wasted. My intake also has come down. I am not afraid of my end at 75. My only wish is that I should settle this soon and give a peaceful life for my wife. Fortunately we have other supporting relatives.

I need your views on the sudden deterioration of health and loss of weight. Except for tiredness and partial loss of sleep (normal at this age), I live a normal life. I continue using Antim tart and Ars alb which keeps the other symptoms under check.

Dear Sri Udayakumar,

May I request you to give your views for my posting on 11th.Nov with regard to sudden deterioration of health and loss of weight.

In addition to the return of frequent attacks of cold and accumulation of copious phlegm in the respiratory system, I also suffer from constipation with rumbling in the abdomen. The phlegm is sticky as well as jelly and transparent with accumulation in throat and trachea.

I take Ars alb 200 in the morning and Antim tart 200 - 3 times a day. Though this helps to clear the phlegm to some extent, wheezing affects the sleep. For the part few days I could sleep only for a couple of hours. I do deep breathing exercises and take steam inhalation to clear the throat and trachea.

I would be extremely thankful to you if you could kindly guide me to alleviate the suffering.

Dear Sri Udayakumar,

I started the course on 23rd since there was a delay in getting the medicines. I have completed 4 days course. There is not much of improvement. The accumulation of copious phlegm continues though Antim Tart 200 effectively clears the trachea. There is a slight improvement in Constipation with accumulation of gas. On some days, the stools are little hard and on passing stools, flatus is discharged in between. Should I continue kali bich30 and phos 30? Or Any change in prescription?
