YEAST INFECTION

Dear Udaya/Garcot,
I was in my village visitting my aunt aged about 70 years.Since last two or three days She has been complaining severe itching in the urinary passage perhaps due to Yeast infection.She has no fever or chill. The itching is intolerable at times. I have not been able to get intouch with you due lack of communication facilities. I thought about caladium/sulphur /Acid Nitricum.as remedies . Since Sulphur and caladium were not avilable with me I asked her to take one or two doses of Acid Nitricum and apply Calendula cream.I seek your guidance

Dear Udaya
Thanks for your very prompt reply. Do I need to send her any other remedy if Borax fails. I am asking this question because she lives in village and I wish continuity of treatment should not be disturbed. Three doses to be given in one day or one dose a day for three days

Dear Baskaran,
I really envy you for getting an opportunity to spend sometime in a village setting.
Borax, Calc.Carb, Kali-Bich, Nat-Mur, Pulsatilla, Sepia, Sulphur are some of the prominent remedies that get indicated for Yeast infection.
Considering her age, and due to lack of symptoms picuture, Udaya I believe has suggested this remedy.
If burning and itching alone are noticeble symptoms, sulphur gets indicated. We need to know, nature of discharge like color, smell etc.. to specify a more appropriate remedy.
Let us hope Borax alone would be sufficient to alleviate her problems.
In my opinion she has no yeast infection, but just the excess heat, may be due to the hot weather conditions prevailing.

Dear Garcot,
Visit to my village was under compulsions to see my aunt who is not keeping well for sometime now. She does not have any discharges I had to infer the problem may be due to summer heat and her age as she is unable to give a more detailed picture .I have sent Borax already and asked her son to give her one dose every day .I shall revert on the progress tmw

I understand that after taking Borax for two days one dose a day the intensity of itching is reduced. I have aked her to complete the third dose also after which I shall giive you the update

Dear Bhaskaran,
Thanks for the update. Continue with Borax if required for more than three days. Use also upto three doses (one dose a day) of Pulsatilla 200 or Colchicum 30 whichever is suitable to her according to other symptoms. with best wishes.

Dear Shri udaya,
A close reletive of mine a lady around 62 years has reported stinging pain after passing urine. Since my computer had problems I could not get in touch with you and suggested Cantheris 30 in wet doses , no relief after two doses hence switched over to Merc sol 30 in wet doses . She still feels the problem persists even now and frequent passing of urine may be every one hour unable to control. May I have your advice please

Use Borax 30 three doses for one day. Use according to symptoms in this order if further required:
1.Beriberis Vulgaris Q 5 drops in one ounce water three times a day as tonic.
2. belladonna 30.
3. Apis Mellifica 30.
4. Arsenic album 30.

I have asked her to take Belladona as advised by you.in wet doses thrice without any improvements.I feel Apis is not indicated she has not complained any burning sensations or thirst etc..I look forward to your advice

No. my suggestion was :

What about beriberis? Borax was suggested to deal with any yeast infections or similar infection and ulcers if any. Belladonna was suggested symptomatically and Berberis was suggested to deal with any kidney infections behind the malady.

Ihave not mentioned Beri Beris in my post because it was meant to be used as a tonic. When Belladona was given she had the pain coming down but continued. I will continue Beri Beries for afew more days as advised by you .. Can I switch over to Ars alb skipping Apis as indications does not suggest Apis as mentioned in my previous post

all medicines homeopathy work as medicines. But some medicines have tonic value in the sense that they are remunerative and protective and preventive. I use the tonic word for a purpose. I use it because of the skeptic who are some times afraid of the medicines and comes back with weired symptoms saying after taking this medicine I got that etc. And if I ask them to take a medicine for a prolonged period they would hesitate to do it in homeo system whereas if I say it is a tonic, they would do it without hesitation and their suspecting mind is put to rest by the soothing knowledge that it is only a tonic. I hope you understand. It is not enough we know the right medicine and suggest the right medicine for the right ailment, we also need to address the psycho of the patient and the people around him too. for. e.g. a heart patient with a mild attack would become worse with the shock and anxiety if the feelings and expressions or people crowded around him are anziety. We need to give medicine then to the patient, but more than that we need to remove all the people standing around him or give them all one dose of aconitum each. This is one reason I recommend always one dose of Aconitum followed by Arnica 30 or 200 as the case may be for all heart patients, so that the flow or blood is regularised and the shock is removed by Arnica whereas the anxiety and fear of death is removed by aconitum. Meaning, when mind symptoms are removed the physical symptoms automatically is reduced or vanish. That is, you will itch only if you think there is an itch. The thinking or feeling itch is first and then the physcial symptom.
You can skip Apis and try Arsenic Album, Pulsatilla, Dolichos, Colchicum, Kreosotum according to symptoms. I cannot narrow down sitting here with the localised symptoms you have mentioned. with warm regards.

Thank you for your very detailed post..I will continue Beri Beries for afew more days. She is taking Arsalb 30 since last two days..The frequency of passing urine has come down and so also the pain. I will stop Ars alb from today and wait for progress and update you on the progress after a couple of days

She has been keeping normalcy since last two days .I have stopped giving her any medication except Beri Beris Q.. Can I continue for another three four days and stop? Please advise
