Sent pics to your account. Continuing to take weekly dose of granites 10 m. The area behind the ears seems to be ok but the forehead, the base of the head near the neck, sideburns all seem to be the same. Overall, the impacted area of the scalp is increasing.

Yes there have been improvements in some areas while increase in some other. Please check his TSH level. It should be very low.

Thanks Dr. udaya. We have scheduled an appt for his annual general checkup with his primary care physician. Will request TSH levels to be checked as well. Will keep you posted.

Dr. Udaya,

He returned from the general checkup a ppt a short while ago. Blood samples were taken. We should get the results early next week.

His doctor did recommended that he see a dermatologist and provided a referral as he is concerned that the Psoriasis which was previously limited to his scalp is now starting to show signs of spreading to other areas-- spots on his chest. Sent a pic to your account.

Looking for your guidance. Please advise.

I have seen it. I too thought so from your earlier picture. We need to research further....and please send me the complete symptom picture currently experiencing and all that he does and eat, drink etc, and the kind of stress he is in? You may go to dermatologist and report....with best wishes...

As for visiting a dermatalogist, the only value I see is if you want to rule out anything specific. Otherwise you know that we have no interest in Allopathic treatment unless you feel that we have no solution via homeopathy.

Everything is normal and perfect. There is nothing in the report which indicates towards any morbidity. It should then mean, that the ailment is skin level and manifesting due to stress. The only indicator is the TSH which is slightly on the lower meaning that he is slightly hyperthyroid and stressed, and with tantrums of anger.......meaning there by that he needs more and more of Nux Vomica. If so, Nux Vomica, Sulphur, Graphite would be medicine.

Ascyou know, he has been taking a weekly dose of Graphites 10m.
Could you please specify the course ( potency, frequency and duration) for Nux and sulphur?

Forgot to mention that the temper tantrums have definitely decreaed compared to before and I am sure Nux helped.more Nux will do him good.

The skin in the neck area is getting affected now.they look like welts and have itchy burning sensation.Hoping that sulphur will help.

PS: the dermatologist appt has been scheduled for aug 21st. Ususally it is at least a couple on months before an appt can be secured but they are on a drive to clear the referral queue. Hence they called and scheduled. Not sure if I should keep it. I already know how the conversation will go based on the recent dermatologist visit for my son which I will post in the other thread.
The Dr. Will confirm what we already know and then prescribe medication and at that point We'll will share the fact that he is undergoing homeopathy treatment and decline the meds.
Then we will be told that they will kept on file if we want to order from the pharmacy.
The only reason I can think of going is to get an opinion about the lightened skin around the hairline on the forehead. Do you have any doubts about it being Vitiligo? It doesn't appear to be because the skin color is looking better but it is still lighter.

Dear Dr.Udaya,

My husband had his appt with teh dermatologist yetserdya. As expected, the doctr confirmed that it is Psoriasis only and did not mention Vitiligo. Precsribed some steroid based cream to be applied along with T-Gel shampoo and also another cream. <don't ahve them handy right now but cna provide incase you would liek to know). Ofcourse my husband declined but it's on file.

One thing that my husband mentioend was that the doctor wondered why it was so itchy. Wasn't sure why that would be a surprise since itchiness is part of Posriasis ysmptoms, isn't it?

Gave him Graphites 10 M this AM. Please advise on the next steps. The skin at the neck area is exteremly itchy. Eargerly looking for your guidance.

Itch happens when something is healing or drying up. Itch is also a body defense mechanism alerting the subject to the location of incidence. Use the following three medicines as daily doses:
1. Sulphur 30C
2. Staphisagria 30C
3. Petroleum 30C.

Dr. Udaya,

Completed the course of sulphur 30, staphisagria 30 and petroleum30 on 3 separate days as prescribed.

Sent pics to your account. The condition is mainly scalp and back of the neck and a bit on the throat.

Observation is that there some relief from itching but the itbis still very much there. Keeping the spots heavily moisturized.

Please advise on the next steps.

Have requested immediate procurement of Oleander 30. Should arrive by the weekend. Have kali sulph 6x on hand but I am guessing you want both remedies started at the same time.

Dear Dr. Udaya,

Gave Lyco 10 M dose on aug 28th night. There seems to be some improvement. The bumpy raised welt like lesions on the back of the neck no longer look raised but the lesions are still there.

Sent pics to your account. Two sets of Pics were taken one on the evening of 30th and the other on morning of 31st to contrast the state of skin during the normal course of day ( about 9-10 hrs after bath) and pre bath/ moisturizer being applied.

Oleander is expected to arrive tomorrow. Thank you for your guidance.

Dear Dr. Udaya,

Oleander 30/ Kali Suph 6x course was started last Sunday.
Sent pics to your account. There seems to be improvement but there is a long way to go. Towards evening/ night, the spots at the nape of the neck and throat tend to get more sensitive, itchy and he experiences this burning/ stinging sensation. He is experiencing lot of discomfort.
looking forward to your feedback.
PS: he is leaving on work related trip from Sunday evening through Wed Night.
Please advise if he should continue the remedies becuase the 1 week course will end tomorrow.

While waiting for your response, he continued taking the remedies. The update is that there is some improvement. The left side of the back of thr neck looks smoother than before. The right hand side still has the spots with welt like appearance. The throat also looks almost the same.
