How about I start all of them together and then stop sepia after 3days? I"ll continue with the other 3 remedies and at the one week mark stop antim and aethusa and continue with vanadium. Sound ok?
Thanks,
Skill

Dear Dr. Udaya,
Continuing with vanadium6c. As per the plan started sepia 30, aethusa 30, antim crud 30 and vanadium together. Stopped sepia after 3 days and dropped aethusa/ antim crud at about the 7or 8 day mark and have been giving only vanadium since last 3-4 days.
Pls see the pics sent to your account. While the skin is smooth, Again the jaw area seems to be getting lighter as compared to the pic sent on aug 10th to you. Also previously the area of the spot seemed to be slowly getting smaller but again it seems to be getting bigger. Also, we noticed a new tiny spot on the left side of the chin( it's in one of the 3pics sent).
I am wondering if we need to chnage course or maybe do a repeat of sepia 30 and aethusa, antim crud again. Also we stopped ars sulph flavum 1m. Not sure we need to start giving again although must say that there was no significant change while we were giving it.
PS: a long standing dermatology referral given when he that I keep postponing was finally scheduled about 2weeks ago.The Dermatolgist could not conclusively diagnose the spot under the jaw as Vitiligo. She said it looked suspicious but she didn't think it was Vitiligo. The spot bon the back of the neck, she said wasn't Vitiligo. She took us into a darkened room and used a bluish purple light and examined him.
She said that not much is known about Vitiligo and suggested a combination medicine called Protopic ( used to treat Eczema and Vitiligo, a relatively new drug with a Blackbox warning on it). I explained that he is undergoing homeopathic treatment and she saw some of the pics on my phone a felt there is improvement. I declined the medicine and She did leave the medicines on file
in case We want to proceed with the allopathic treatment.
The reason I feel she couldn't conclusively diagnose was because his skin was looking much better due to the homeopathic remedies.
Dr. Udaya, how can we stop this from getting worse an get him back to the state of progress we were at till a fe days ago. I am at a loss trying to understand which remedy it was that was helping that we need to give more doses of.
Please advise on the next steps.
Best Regards,
Skill

I also had felt that there had been lot of improvement, but the small spot is intriguing.
Start again one dose of Tuberculinum 1M or 10M whichever is available with you and start with Sepia 30C,. No milk, no citrus fruits.... keep me posted after three days of Sepia. with best wishes.

That would be a daily single dose of sepia 200, right?
One clarification. have avoided milk while giving sepia. I have not seen any refernces to exclusion of all dairy and have seen the restriction limited to only milk. Does that mean that he Can have cheese or yogurt. Most of the food items tend to have cheese or dairy ingredients. That's why I am double-checking.
Thanks

Skill,
Since skin issue is involved, I was a little cautious and stuck to books. Books says only avoid milk while using Sepia. If you think other dairy products should also be avoided, it would be worthwhile to try. The results would be an encouraging addition to what we already know. with best wishes.

Dr. Udaya,
I was only double checking that the restriction is limited only to milk while giving sepia. As it is it is difficult to eliminate milk from his diet, extending it to other dairy products will be quite a task - not impossible but quite difficult.
Don't if you recall but a few months ago, per your recommendation, we had tried a complete diary free diet for about 10 days but did not notice any change in the symptoms and then you had concluded that we can resume inclusion of dairy again since it did not seem to yield any benefit and was ruled out as a possible trigger.
Will start him on a daily dose of sepia 200 and report.
Thank you,
Skill

Dr. Udaya,
Started him on a daily dose of Sepia 200 on Aug 26th. The is definite improvement in the spot behind the neck. As for the lesion under the jaw, I think there may be some improvement although I am not sure if the improvement is limited to the skin looking much more smoother or if there is also some change in the pigmentation. Not sure if there is any chnage in the tiny spot on the chin . You may be able to judge better. Pics sent to your account.
Shall I continue sepia 200 for a few more days? Please advise.
Thanks,
Skill

Certainly the medicine is working and definite improvements (in all areas) and new pigmentations(spot on chin) and tendency to cure. Continue with Sepia Tuberculinum combination i.e. Tuberculinum 1 M or 10M once in a month and Sepia 200 one dose day later extended to one dose a week. Best wishes and congrats.

Dr. Udaya,
Continuing with daily dose of Sepia 200.
He seems to have caught a cold since late yesterday evening. It started with a bit of sneezing after he returned from his Swim practice and I could see him sniffle a bit, although I doubt it was anything to do with the swimming itself since he has been swimming all throught out summer.
It seemed like there was a bit of clear discharge and I hoped that with the daily early morning dose of Sepia which was given today, it wouldn't proceed further. when he was getting ready for school, I noticed that the discharge from the nose is egg white color/ consistency i.e it is not totallu clear/ thin consistency and he emntioned that when he blew his nose as soona s he woke up, it looked a bit yellow. There is no cough, or throat pain at thsi time. It is mainly nasal congestion (stuffy nose) with the discharge and occassional sneezes. Is there anything that we can give him to arrest this cold?
the weather also is changing a bit. It became a little cold yeterday evening. It's cloudy, grey today also. He is continuing the swim team practice in the fall session too, he really enjoys swimming alot and there has been lot of improvement in his skill level ( Tue thru Friday every week in the evening). On 2 of those 4 days, practice time for his team is 6:15 t0 7:00pm. With the weather slowly starting to get cold, I am a little concerned but the pool is still temp controlled although it is an outdoor pool.
Best Regards,
Skill
