Aspen (Populus tremula)
Dread, apprehension, fear that has no reason.
Fear that comes on anytime -panic attacks in the daytime, night terrors.
Such people often invite ridicule and impatience, since they can point to no cause for their fear, but nonetheless suffer terribly. These people are likely to develop palpitations or trembling of the body.

Hi Jayashree !
Is there something for the "Fear of the spouse".
It is not an uncommon symptom. Found in Male and Female ..both.
Will the same med apply to both or different med for different gender!!
Others who have experience in this area are welcome to reply.

For fears that are specific, better to try Mimulus. It is important to differentiate between Aspen & Mimulus.
ASPEN
======
Aspen is for vague fears of unknown origin, apprehensions.
Regarding ASPEN, Dr Bach says, "Vague unknown fears, for which there can be given no explanation, no reason. Yet the patient may be terrified of something terrible going to happen, he knows not what. These vague unexplainable fears may haunt by night or day. Sufferers often are afraid to tell their trouble to others."
MIMULUS
========
"Mimulus is the remedy for known fears. In other words whenever you are frightened of something or you are anxious about something, and you can say what that something is, then Mimulus is the remedy to take."
"Fear of worldly things, illness, pain, accidents, poverty, of dark, of being alone, of misfortune. The fears of everyday life. These people quietly and secretly bear their dread, they do not freely speak of it to others."
Here the patient's fear is very specific -fear of FLYING. Mimulus might match this case better.
If some patient has got specific as well as vague fears, a combination of Aspen and Mimulus can be given.
