Guiding symptoms of abis Nigra
-Useful remedy in many diseased conditions, when they are associated with gastric symptoms.
-It causes dyspepsia with functional heart symptoms, especially in the aged persons. Also useful in indigestion of those who abuse the drinking of tea and smoking or chewing of tobacco.
-The chief symptom in dyspepsia is a sensation of:
HARD BOILED EGG LODGED IN THE CARDIAC END OF THE STOMACH.
Patient describes it as if a hard lump is felt in the pit of stomach or in the lung, which he wants to cough out.
-Continual distressing constriction just above the pit of the stomach as if everything were knotted up, worse whenever debilitated. LUMP (egg, rock, knot, stone) feeling in top of stomach.
-PAIN IN STOMACH ALWAYS COMES ON AFTER EATING. Pressing pain in the stomach, after a hearty meal, as if a load or stone was there. As though he had swallowed some indigestible substance which had stuck in his stomach would neither go down nor come up.
-TOTAL LOSS OF APPETITE, IN THE MORNING, BUT GREAT CRAVING FOR FOOD AT NOON AND AT NIGHT (waking from hunger or hunger prevents sleep). Low spirited and dull during the day, wakeful and restless at night with hunger.
-Painful sensation in chest as if something were lodged in chest, mostly on right side of sternum, and had to be coughed up; lungs feel compressed, cannot be fully expanded.
-Dyspnoea action heavy and slow. Coughing < waterbrash (waterbrash, cough during and after).
-Dyspepsia accompanied by hot head, dull headache, flushed cheeks and constipation.
-Menses at daytime only. Delayed with gradual decrease of menstruation.

ABIES CANADENSIS-PINUS CANADENSIS
Hemlock Spruce
Mucous membranes are affected by Abies can and gastric symptoms are most marked, and a catarrhal condition of the stomach is produced. There are peculiar cravings and chilly sensations that are very characteristic, especially for women with uterine displacement, probably due to defective nutrition with debility. Respiration and heart action labored. Wants to lie down all the time; skin cold and clammy, hands cold; very faint. Right lung and liver feel small and hard. Gleet.
Head.--Feels light-headed, tipsy. Irritable.
Stomach.--Canine hunger with torpid liver. Gnawing, hungry, faint feeling at the epigastrium. Great appetite, craving for meat, pickles, radishes, turnips, artichokes, coarse food. Tendency to eat far beyond capacity for digestion. Burning and distention of stomach and abdomen with palpitation. Flatulence disturbs the heart's action. Pain in right shoulder-blade, and constipation, with burning in rectum.
Female.--Uterine displacements. Sore feeling at fundus of uterus, relieved by pressure. Prostration; wants to lie down all the time. Thinks womb is soft and feeble.
Fever.--Cold shivering, as if blood were ice-water (Acon). Chills run down back. Cold water feeling between shoulders (Ammon mur). Skin clammy and sticky. Night-sweat (China).
Dose.--First to third potency.
Good wishes. Milap Singh

This tree grows in front of my home in NJ. I use its resin (gum) to make this medicine. It is sparsly soluble in water but dissolves in Alcohol.
How to make this medicine:
Take one two liter clean empty water bottle. (Soda bottle would be fine)
Fill it up half with good mineral/spring/rain/canal or river water.
Put not more than a pinch of Abies Nigera gum in that bottle.
Shake the bottle vigorously, or rather bang it several times.
Take just 2 drops under the tongue. Sajjad is right, it is best suited if one feels a hard object in the tummy. I have solved some die hard cases of gerd/bad stomach.

Like thuja or any other pine/spruce/cypress tree. Abies Nigra is also a bloating remedy.
Try it. Chew a small twig after the meals and you will notice belching/bloating increases and then a big burp.

Once the digestive problem is solved by this med...the heart also begins to function more efficiently. So Abies has twin benefits.
There is only one religion....called mankind.
There is only one law....the law of Karma
There is only one God....He is everywhere and with everyone and knows everything.
