Dear Raj,
I am adding again.....
Dont worry about the current situation its all due to your mistake so you have to bear it for the moment.
The recovery circle will go on and take the long route through your discomfort phase of 2-3 days caused by your drinking and revert back on the track of healing when the drinking effect eliminate from your blood.
I also made a mistake and took a long drive due to my job and felt in great pain and discomfort for almost 6 days and now with countinue treatment , i am again on the road of recovery and now the pain is very low and also the Pus is very low.The external end of fastula is now going to be close agin within next 2 days i think.
Pray to GOD and keep patience, i am doing it and feeling comfortable.

HI Jo,
This is a weekly update from me. I still have the sweling - drain cycle going on. The swelling was little bigger last week and started draining. But the draining is continuing for the past 4 days in little.
I am continuing all the 3 (Arnica, Nat Phaos, Celica) medicinces with AB ointment as well.
I shall keep update you on the progress.
Please let me know if I need to do anything else.
Thank you very much for your care and support. Please continue your great service for people who suffer in this world and looking for some help !
Jo, I have some kind of black layer (discolor) in my face, especially more on my foreheads. Dr said this is kind of Sun Burn and apply some sun lotion. I am not much comfortable in using lot of chemicals. I am sure you know some best remedy for this and can help me on this. Can you please suggest me something ? Also, can I take this medicine (if you suggest any) with my Fistula / Fissure treatment. If not , I can wait.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR TIME !
Thanks
Raj

Arnica 6c in the Wet dose may be the remedy for your skin condition and you can apply it directly on the skin with your fingers. This has helped Acne sufferers and I feel that it can also help your skin. The idea is to keep the skin moist as often as possible with the remedy and see if it helps the "black layer".

Dear Joe De Livera,
I have been actively reading up on your posts here and on abchomeopathy.com in recent days. I have commenced the routine you outline closely (started yesterday), notably:
- Arnica Montana 30c in liquid form (ethanol solution) - 2 drops in 450mL, 2 capfuls 3 times per day after shacking bottle
- Silicea 6X - 2 tablets taken 3 times daily, taken whole and not under the tongue as I understand?
- Antibiotic ointment taken after passing stools in the morning - Bactroban nasal ointment (mupirocin ointment 2% w/w) - doctor unaware of any other antibacterial ointment but believes this is ok in the rectum
Not taking Nat Phos 6x as rarely suffer harden stools/constipation, but will be eating bananas/prunes to keep things soft regardless.
Normally on a healthy diet (mediterranean diet, lots of raw veggies), but have now stopped red meat intake as indicated. Don't smoke, drink coffee, stopped taking the occasional soft drink. Am taking a probiotic, fish oil tablets.
Background: about 12 months ago had bad constipation (rare for me). Forced the stools out of my body (modulated stools in and out until they finally passed). About a week later started getting itchiness in area, months later abscess and then fistula. Had it operated on recently including putting in draining seaton, then 11 days ago seaton taken out, inside opening to rectum stitched with fibrin glue placed into tract. Unsure if the procedure has worked as still quite a bit of pus coming from tract. Otherwise a fit healthy younger person.
Hoping your remedy will maximise the success of my procedure by helping to dry area and promote tissue growth. Will keep you informed of my progress.
In gratitude of your service.

To Sam
I note that you have followed my instructions precisely and hope that your problem will clear up in a few weeks in the future.
Thank you for detailing the etiology of your Fistula as so far I have only theorized on its origin but you have provided evidence from your own experience on how it originated.
It is a pity that you did not use my therapy before you were compelled to have surgery but as you would have read from the many posts on this Forum and the ABC, surgery is not the answer as one episode usually leads to another, with no end in sight.
I have formulated my Joepathy therapy on a trial and error basis using various remedies and believe that the current formula is perhaps the best to provide relief in a few days with the possibility of a permanent cure in a few months without recourse to recurrent bouts of surgery.
Please post your response from time to time on this forum.

HI Jo,
This is a weekly update from me. I still have the swelling - pus cycle continues. But Pain is less now a days and also the amount of pus drains is less.
I also notice that a slight itching kind of sensation on the spot, right after I take Celicia and soemtimes it swells sometimes it doesn't. Is this normal ?
I also have 2 more Qs from your other postings in ABC :
1. You have mentioend that " A bonus is that Nat Phos will also reduce weight at the rate of about 1 pound per week " . But in my case I am already thin and dont want to loose any weight. Can I still take this ? Or is there any alternate ?
2. Silica pellets 6c - how should i take it??? under tongue or just swallow with water? Some response says under toungue and some doesn't. So far, I am taking under toungue as any other Homeo medicince. Please let me know if this is OK.
Thanks again for all your time and effort !
Thanks

I note that you are taking the wrong potency of Silicea.
"Silica pellets 6c - how should i take it??? under tongue or just swallow with water?"
In Homeopathy it is essential that the patient follows the directions given precisely. Silicea 6c cannot be confused with Silicea 6x. The former potency is used in the treatment of other ailments while the latter is used to expel the pus which in your case is the cause of the swelling you have been reporting for some time. You must get the 6x and take it according to instructions which I have given in previous posts to you and to others both on this Forum and the ABC Forum.
Nat Phos 6x helps to keep the stools soft in order to avoid further laceration of the lesion with every bowel movement. If your stools are not hard you do not have to take it. In any case this Biochemic remedy does not reduce weight if your body weight is already at a low level. You can weigh yourself to verify if it actually does reduce your weight.

My applogies, Joe. I am taking Silicea 6X only as you have prescribed. It is just by mistake I have mentioend as 6C.
So, I will go through your other posts and findout how to consume Silicea 6X.
Regarding NatPhos I noticed I haven't lost any weight after that.
Thanks again for all your support and advise ! I shall keep you updated every week.

I would prefer that you do not consume any food or drink that can have a negative effect on your healing process.
Let the medication that you are now using complete your healing and you are then free to take the protein drink.

Dear Joe De Livera,
Detailing my experiences at week 1 mark.
Have been following instructions precisly, as detailed previously. Prior to homeopathic/ati-biotic remedy pus output would be quite a bit more daytime than overnight.
I have observed the following in the last week taking homeopathic/anti-biotic remedy:
- Pus output has reduced during the daytime - around 2.5cm diameter discharge on cottom pad now. Whilst this is an improvement compared to discharge AFTER having draining seaton inserted & subsequent fibrin glue surgery (which I had only 2.5 weeks ago) when I was draining a lot (to be expected post surgery), I recall this to be similar to the amount of discharge prior to undergoing any surgery about 4 months ago. Regardless, some improvement has been observed in week 1 compared to prior week.
- When I replace my cotton pad at the end of the day ready for bedtime, notice some other secondary discharge other the the pus. This discharge is almost clear and surrounds the smaller pus discharge on the pad. It is moist on the pad and has some colouration particularly at the edges. Unsure if this is the pad extracting moisture from the pus or leakage from the bottom area after taking the anti-biotics (later unlikely I suspect)? Welcome your opinion.
- How long do you believe it safe to take anti-biotic cream? I presume should not be taken for an extended period
Currently maintaining remedy routine as mentioned in first post.
In gratitude of your service.

It is still too early in your post surgical state to expect more positive results in just 2 weeks. However the fact that you have already noted a reduction in the pus stain is a positive sign and it is only when the pus is replaced by a light red stain that we can assume that the lesion is almost cured.
In the meanwhile you are advised to continue with your regimen including the massage with the antibiotic OINTMENT (not cream). The paraffin base of the ointment helps to keep the bacteria in and around the lesion more under control for a longer period than the cream, which is the reason for the AB ointment being used after every bowel movement.
I am not qualified to advise you on how long an AB ointment can be used safely but considering that it is used on the inside end of the gut to control reinfection by the bacteria in every passing stool, I can presume that it can be considered as a far better alternative to control infection which is how a Fistula originates after a hard stool. You have recorded the etiology of your own Fistula and as I stated in my last post to you, this is precisely how I had built up the picture in my own mind on its original formation.
It seems to me that the AB ointment is the lesser of the 2 evils and in spite of the generally accepted belief that AB ointment is not recommended for any long term use, it is obviously in the patient's interest to have the lesion cured by whatever means is rational and as soon as possible.

Dear Joe De Livera,
Correcting my previous post, yes I'm using the anti-biotic ointment, not cream.
GP seems ok with me using the ointment for a month or so, so will continue its use.
Given the fistula tract opening to the rectum has been stitched closed during my recent surgery, and assuming stitch has held, is the anti-biotic treatment still important ie. faeces and accompanying bacteria no longer exposed to tract?
In gratitude of your service.

It seems obvious that there is still a focus of infection which is the cause of the Pus you reported.
It is important that the AB ointment is used to massage the anal tract from as far as your finger can go from the top downwards to promote the expelling of the pus and with it the bacteria that cause it.
The other remedies Silicea and Arnica will both help to heal the lesion.

Hi Jo,
This is a weekly update from me :
Continue to have the itching / swelling / draining atleast once a week. When its swelling the area is hard to touch and mostly its swelling after some BM.
Also, I notice now when its swelling there are 2 small bruces (like a small baloon). It used to be only one earlier but now I see 2 small instead of one big. Is this normal ?
I am still using AB ointment after every BM.
Also, I am about to order my second set of medicinces and I would like to confirm the following things from you ;
1. Current Silicea I am using says " Silicea 6X in the Lactose Base " . This I ordered in ABC and shipped from Hylands Pharmacy. Can I get the same again ? OR do I need to go for any higher potency. Waiting on your advise.
I have enough supply of NatPhaos and Arnica 30C still.
Do I have to add any other medicince with this ? Please let me know so that I can order everything together.
Thank you very much for your great service and support. I am determined to follow your thraphy precisely and get rid of the issue for ever. I would be really thankful to you for your great Service.
Thanks

I think that it is time to change the AB ointment. It is possible that the bacteria in the lesion are not responding to the brand you are now using and a change of the AB may help. I presume that you are doing the massage after every BM from the top downwards.
You can order the Silicea 6x in the Biochemic Tissue Salt tablets which you can get from Celletech who host this Forum. You can click on their advertisment on every page.

Sure, Joe. I shall talk to my Physisian and ak for the Best AB ointment available and also for the prescription.
I am observing that when the swelling is not happening, once in a while the swelling is occuring at the end of the anus ( in Fisseure I guess) and its draining from there as well. is this normal ? Please let me know.

It is difficult for me to be specific on the reason for your bleeding without a visual inspection which is not possible on a Forum. You will have to follow the therapy I have advised and I am confident that you will be cured soon.
The brand of the AB ointment is not relevant. It is just that I felt that the AB you are now using may be not controlling the bacteria and that a change of AB would be more effective as the bacteria may be more susceptible to the changed formula.
I often think of the many thousands who are affected by problems similar to yours --- Fistula, Fissure and Abscess even at this very moment who are invariably subjected to surgery with General Anesthesia, who could have been helped and eventually cured by my Joepathy at minimal cost and in complete safety. Many who have consulted me have testified that they have had more than one episode of surgery as it seems endless as the surgeons do not seem to realize that when they open up the lesion in the anus, every passing bowel movement must necessarily infect the lesion that they have opened up to cure in their own way. This recurrent infection is the real reason for one surgery paving the way for the next but it seems to me that surgeons are not taught the basics of keeping the lesion as sterile as is possible, which is the reason for my insisting on the Antibiotic Ointment after every bowel movement.
Surgeons have been trained in a manner similar to classical homeopaths by their peers to only use the methods that they were taught in their universities blindly. In the meanwhile the poor patient is left to suffer and it is no wonder that he continues from one surgical adventure to the next.

Dear Joe De Livera,
Detailing my experiences at week 2 mark.
This week has been an interesting week. On Tues a small bloody discharge appeared from tract. Then for the next couple of days discharge on cutton pad was around 6-10mm over course of day (1/2 reduction on previous week), almost no discharge overnight.
Unfortunately, yesterday, I noticed something I've not seen since my last surgury when draining seaton was removed. My pus discharge went back to around 2.5cm and was a distinctly brown colour + had small food fragments (thin pieces from chilli sauce that I ate on that day) - this suggests that faeces from rectum is somehow getting into fistula tract once more. Unsure if this suggests that internal stitch in rectum has failed since previous operation? Doctor indicated stitch should come out about now, so perhaps stitch came out but internal opening has not healed?
Continuing remedy unchanged. With regards to massaging ointment, I understand you mean to massage the rectum from up to down a few times?
Welcome your insights. In gratitude of your service.

I cannot comment on your latest status as your surgeon is better able to do so.
Your discovery of "small food fragments (thin pieces from chilli sauce that I ate on that day"
is of interest as this indicates that the chillie pieces were not digested as they should be when you have a bowel motion. It also indicates that your peristalsis is unusually quick and this may be a point to discuss with your surgeon. Food takes at least 24 hours to be expelled and in your case it seems to do so in less than half that time.
You are best advised not to eat any chillies and other food that can irritate and slow the curative process which was going according to plan up to now. Alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham and bacon and canned beverages are also contraindicated.
I presume that you are massaging the lesion inside the rectum with the antibiotic ointment internally as your statement:
"I understand you mean to massage the rectum from up to down a few times?"
gave me the impression that you were doing so externally.
Continue with the therapy as prescribed in previous posts.

Dear Joe De Livera,
Was inaccurate with my previous report. Ate a small amount of chilli sauce for dinner the night before - 24 hours before I checked my cotton pad to find a chilli fragment. Chilli fragment in tract are extremely thin pieces, unsure if it would expected that these be fully digested. Will get off the Chilli sauce. My wife cooks with a moderate amount of spices, not the hot variety but spices like corinder power, cumin, mild curry, black pepper, paprica (not hot variety) to flavour food as don't eat salt due to an inner ear condition (Meniere's) acquired after a bad influenza bout a few years ago. Have also started taking raw garlic blended with my morning vegetable juices. Let me know if I should make any further adjustments to my diet, understanding food flavouring impact with no salt or spices.
Don't consume sausages, ham, bacon, alchol, coffee, tea and have stopped canned beverages and stopped red meat intake.
I have been inserting the antibiotic ointment inside my rectum. I have not however been "massaging" the inside as need to understand how to do this ie. just moving finder up and down inside rectum, pushing against side of internal tract opening in rectum etc? Have been hesitant to do this to date due to not wishing to affect stiched area.
Committed to working your course of action to avoid further surgury.
In gratitude of your service.
