I too was a sceptic, but personal experience has made me a follower.

I too was a skeptic because the health food stores sales person told me to take the pellets dry. They didn't work because I took the pellets dry directly from the container.
Later, I hired a homeopath who taught me to take the pellets in water.
I do not believe in taking homeopathy dry. I only use it in water.

I very rarely use wet doses. I have found dry doses as effective as the wet doses. I would not say more effective.

Dosing:
I have a open approach. It all depends on the sensitivity level of the patient, water purity and lots of other factors which are very dynamic.
Personally, both wet doses and dry doses work well for me and my wife.
What is noticed however, while using wet doses is to ensure, it is pure mineral water or atleast doesn't contain impurities, sediments etc.... presence of these substances ( including many minerals already slightly potentised because of turbulance through which the water reaches our homes) seem to alter the behaviour of the remedy though I cannot confirm.
Another factor that affects is, choosing the right remedy. Choosing a wrong remedy during acute illness, causes severe aggravations in many patients and it would be prudent here, to use a wet doses at lower potencies to check the reaction of patient first before using higher potency in wet or dry form.

Dr.Luc has to use water from flowing streams when he was in Africa.
His experience is that contaminated water/ bottle doesn't make a difference as long as the remedy is right.
Farook J. Master says that he asked few patients to take the medicine while chewing pan as an experiment. He says the medicine still worked.

I take coffee alongwith the remedy and it still works. But this rule will not hold good for people who seldom take coffee. Same story may be true for habitual pan chewers.

Succussing is not possible with dry pellets. If a wet dose doesn't work with the first sip, I succuss 50 to 100 times and then it works.
We may think a remedy doesn't work but if it was succussed it would.
There is the option of taking a remedy in water 5 times and successing 10 times, which equals 50 times or you can succuss 50 times all at once. I like succussing all at once so I don't have to bother doing it ten times. I can't keep track. But for my animals I write it down.
